These general terms and conditions apply to the rental and reservation of our

Surf and Beach beach houses

1. Reservations
Via website. You can make a reservation via our site www.surfenbeachstrandhuisjes.nl, after which your reservation is immediately final after receipt of the deposit. The tenant will receive a confirmation of this within 24 hours via e-mail.

Confirmation. The landlord will confirm the reservation within 24 hours after receipt of your reservation via the site or via e-mail. You are requested to check this confirmation for correctness after receipt. If you have not received the confirmation within 24 hours, we request that you contact us by e-mail.

Our confirmation and the agreement of these rental conditions together form a preliminary rental agreement between the addressee of the confirmation letter (renter) and the sender (landlord). Surf en Beach beach houses only accepts bookings from persons aged 25 and over.
Groups of young people and pets are not allowed.

2. Rental costs
The rental price includes the rental of the beach house as stated on the website www.surfenbeachstrandhuisjes.nl

Gas, water, electricity and VAT

Kitchen package (consisting of dishcloth, washing-up brush and block)
2 sunbeds and picnic table

The rental price does not include
Tourist tax p.p.p.n. Mandatory bed linen package € 15.00 p.p. (consisting of pillow, mattress and duvet cover, beds will be made for you)
Final cleaning € 90.00 (You must leave the beach house clean and dish-free when checking out, additional cleaning costs if you leave the beach house dirty € 50.00)

Exclusive (optional to book)

*Crib € 15.00
*Parking pass € 20.00 (weekend), € 30.00 (midweek), € 40.00 (week)

Exclusive (to bring yourself)
Towels, bath towels and kitchen linen

We do not charge any administration costs, but request a cash deposit of € 50 upon arrival.

3. Payments
The tenant must make a deposit of the total rental amount within 7 days of receiving the confirmation. This amount is stated on the confirmation and must be transferred to

IBAN NL54 RABO 0338 9012 72 (BIC: RABONL2U) in the name of Surf en Beach beach houses, stating the reservation number and reservation name.

As soon as we have received the deposit, the reservation is final. If the deposit is not received within 7 days, the option to make a reservation will expire. You can then no longer claim the beach house. If desired, a new reservation must be made.

The remaining amount must be transferred to the bank account of Surf en Beach beach houses as stated above no later than six weeks before arrival. You will receive a final invoice from us with the remaining amount.

If you make a reservation within eight weeks before arrival, the entire amount must be paid immediately after receipt of the confirmation.

One week before arrival, you will receive another message from us by email with the latest information.

You can collect the keys to your beach house at the beach pavilion Surf en Beach after showing your confirmation. You must be able to identify yourself.

4. Changes and Cancellations
Changes
In the event of changes up to 28 days before the start of the rental period, a free change (name, address, number) may be submitted once. For a second or subsequent change, or within 28 days before rental, €30 will be charged per change.

Rebooking
A rebooking must be submitted in writing. There are costs associated with this. Depending on the period, we will inform you of the costs in writing.

Cancellation
In the event of cancellation by the tenant, the following costs also apply:
In the event of cancellation from 12 months to 8 months (exclusive) before the day of arrival: 10% of the rental sum;
In the event of cancellation from 8 months to 4 months (exclusive) before the day of arrival: 25% of the rental sum;
In case of cancellation from 4 months to the 42nd day (exclusive) before the day of arrival: 50% of the rental amount;
In case of cancellation from the 42nd day (inclusive) to the 28th (exclusive) day before the day of arrival: 75% of the rental amount;
In case of cancellation from the 28th day (inclusive) to the day of arrival and in case of early termination of the stay: 100% of the invoice amount;
Cancellation before the start of the rental period must always be confirmed in writing or by e-mail, stating the name and reservation number.

Cancellation by the landlord
The landlord reserves the right to cancel the rental/lease agreement if the information provided is found to be incorrect, insofar as this has adverse consequences for the beach houses.

5. House rules
Arrival is from 3:00 PM. If you arrive after 8:00 PM, you can let us know by calling our telephone number 071 40 165 63

On the day of departure, you must leave the beach house before 10:00 AM. If you want to leave before 9:00 AM on the day of departure, you must let us know the evening before before 8:00 PM.

The beach houses are suitable for a maximum of 6 people. It is not permitted to exceed this number. In the event of a violation, we can terminate your stay immediately.

Not permitted:

Smoking or burning incense in the beach house
Bringing and using your own appliances such as BBQ, gas burner, deep fryer, oven, baking tray, infrared lamps and other electric heaters/appliances.
Pets
Outdoor storage of goods.

By order of the fire brigade and the municipality of Katwijk to barbecue and light fires at the beach houses and on the beach.
In case of nuisance and/or damage to the beach house, the inventory or other guests, you run the risk of having to leave the beach house.
We request that you do not spread any nuisance from (loud) noise after 22:30.
The tenant must adhere to all other house rules, which are included in the Surf and Beach app of the beach houses.

6. Liability
We assume that you treat nature, the environment and the beach houses with respect.

The main person mentioned in the confirmation is responsible for an orderly course of events in and around the beach house. Breakage/loss or damage to inventory or accommodation that occurs during the use thereof by you and/or other users, regardless of whether this is the result of actions or omissions by yourself and/or third parties who are in the house with your permission, must be reported immediately by the main person to the bar of beach pavilion Surf en Beach.

Surf en Beach beach houses accepts no liability for theft, loss or damage of or to property or persons, of any nature whatsoever, during or as a result of a stay in one of the houses, unless there is intent or gross negligence on the part of Surf en Beach beach houses or (one of) its employees.

Surf en Beach beach houses is not liable for disruptions in the service provision or defects in services provided by third parties.

You indemnify Surf en Beach beach houses against all claims regarding damage to third parties that are the result of any actions or omissions by yourself, other users, your travel companions or third parties who are on the beach area with your permission.

Surf en Beach expressly reserves the right to carry out necessary maintenance during your stay at the beach houses without the right to compensation for work being carried out on the accommodation or other facilities.

This will only be done to improve the quality of the pavilion and your stay in the beach house.

7. Complaints
Surf en Beach tries to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Despite this good care, it is still possible that you have a complaint.

Complaints must be reported on site, so that Surf en Beach has the opportunity to resolve the complaint.

8. Others
Dutch law applies to the rental agreement.
All prices are subject to change. Obvious errors and mistakes do not bind us.

With these general terms and conditions of January 2024, all previous publications expire.
